Sakeji Mission School is a rural, private boarding school established in 1925, providing quality education to children of mission workers and Zambians from various backgrounds. Our mission worker staff are commended and supported by their sending churches. Our goal is to share God’s Word, see young people enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and equip them to be leaders in their future families, communities, and nations. Our student enrolment is growing with students from grades 1 through 9. Each school year consists of 3 terms of 10-12 weeks each. The first term runs from January–March, second term from May–July, and third term from September–November.
Job Description: We are prayerfully seeking a caterer for the school kitchen. The main function of this role is working with and supervising the trained kitchen staff to provide three healthy meals a day and snacks for the staff and students for the duration of the 10 or 12 week term. In addition to providing meals, the role includes planning menus, supervising the cleaning of the kitchen and dining hall facility, ordering and purchasing the needed food, cleaning and uniform supplies. Our Sakeji team members should demonstrate a commitment to meeting the social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our students. In addition, Sakeji missionary staff need to be committed to working together; encouraging, helping, and building one another up.
