Sakeji Mission School is a rural, private boarding school established in 1925, providing quality education to children of mission workers and Zambians from various backgrounds. Our mission worker staff are commended and supported by their sending churches. Our goal is to share God’s Word, see young people enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and equip them to be leaders in their future families, communities, and nations. Our student enrolment is growing with students from grades 1 through 9. Each school year consists of 3 terms of 10-12 weeks each. The first term runs from January – March, second term from May – July, and third term from September – November.
Job Description: We are prayerfully looking for a mature couple with youth work experience to join our team in the role of dorm parents for our boys. This role includes the daily care of boys from ages 6-16 years of age. Dorm parents have the privilege of interacting with the boys on a deeper level and getting to know them in a personal way. Also being able to speak the Word of God into their lives through daily devotions and life lessons. The position also includes working with homeroom teachers to encourage students to achieve their best. In addition to caring for the boys, we work together as a team to provide after-school and weekend activities to make the 24/7 boarding experience more balanced and enjoyable. Our Sakeji team members should demonstrate a commitment to meeting the social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our students.
