Sakeji Mission School is a rural, private boarding school established in 1925, providing quality education to children of mission workers and Zambians from various backgrounds. Our mission worker staff are commended and supported by their sending churches. Our goal is to share God’s Word, see young people enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and equip them to be leaders in their future families, communities, and nations. Our student enrolment is growing with students from grades 1 through 9. Each school year consists of 3 terms of 10-12 weeks each. The first term runs from January–March, second term from May–July, and third term from September–November.
Job Description: We are prayerfully seeking individuals able to help in various support roles at the school. We welcome short-term help (minimum of 1 term) and appreciate the extras they can provide our students. Activities may include assisting teachers, helping with classes and games, reading with students, as well as working as a team to provide after school and weekend activities. There are no special skills required for this position, only a willing attitude to help in a rewarding environment. Our Sakeji team members should demonstrate a commitment to meeting the social, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of our students. In addition, Sakeji missionary staff need to be committed to working together; encouraging, helping, and building one another up.
