Sakeji Mission School Staffing Needs via Mark Ronald
(ZAMBIA, June 13th)

Sakeji Mission School is a rural, private boarding school established in 1925 which provides quality education to Zambians and children of mission workers. Our goal is to share God’s Word, see young people enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord, and equip them to be leaders in their future families, communities, and nations. Student enrolment is growing slowly, with almost 90 students from Grades 1 through 9. Curriculum is sourced and adapted from the UK, America and Zambia. Sakeji School is relatively modern, with 24-hour power and comfortable staff dwellings.

Teachers are missionaries commended and supported by their local church. Teachers with training in special education or other specializations work together with classroom teachers and are also needed. Here is a list of some current staffing needs – please pray that the Lord would supply these needs and consider how you might become involved.

2018 (September to December)

A caterer to run the kitchen (covering a furlough). This position involves overseeing and helping prepare three meals a day for staff and students of Sakeji, about 100 people. Kitchen facility is semi-commercial with electric and gas appliances.

Front office administrator (covering a furlough). This position involves organizing and filing, as well as greeting visitors in the reception area. It requires good communication, organization, and computer skills.

A grade 4/5 teacher and others as the Lord provides.

A mature Christian couple to help in the boys’ dorm.

A school nurse.
