Second surgery

(Their son) Sammy’s second surgery has been rescheduled for this coming Friday, March 3. He has not yet had a seizure that could be mapped. However, both Ken and Melli believe that Sammy will not be able to tolerate a longer stay in the Florida Hospital for Children. So, if necessary, the surgeons will try to remove the atrophied mass based on the MRI of Sam’s brain. (This is how these surgeries were done before the advent of the mapping grid that was placed in Sam’s brain on Feb. 13.) We ask for your continued earnest prayers for Sammy, his family, and the wonderful medical personnel who are giving Sam the best of care and treatment.
