(Via Ron Hampton) Penny DeFouw, an American mission worker in Ireland since 1981, had surgery this morning to have a large mass behind her eye removed. This is delicate surgery but was complicated by the fact that Penny has less than 20% lung capacity in her one functioning lung. In regular life, she uses an oxygen machine most of the time. The head anesthetist is involved because of her unique and precarious situation. Penny has battled other serious health issues thru most of her life. The doctors seemed pleased with the way the surgery went. Please pray.
